My publishing team at St. Martin’s Press is simply the best, and I am beyond thankful to their leader, my amazing publisher and editor, Jennifer Enderlin, for her wisdom and guidance for this, our fifteenth book together. Fifteen books! Meg Walker of Tandem Literary has been my marketing whiz, sob sister, and constant friend for sixteen years, and I can’t imagine publishing and marketing (and touring) a book without her at my side.

My Friends and Fiction sisters, New York Times bestselling novelists all: Kristin Harmel, Kristy Woodson Harvey, and Patti Callahan Henry, along with our AV Nerd/Cabana Boy Shaun Henninger, and librarian extraordinaire Ron Block make work seem like fun, and I know I speak for all of them in thanking our 150,000 Friends and Fiction Facebook Group members for their support and love of books.

Stuart Krichevsky is still and forever the best damn agent in the business, and Paige Turner and I will always be grateful for that long-ago writer’s conference prank that cemented our working relationship.
