Night Witch (Weatherstone College, #2)(73)

He started to slam into me, my back hitting the wall with each thrust. I groaned when he lifted his hand and licked his fingers that had been buried inside me a moment ago. “Fuck, spellcaster,” I cried out, the muscles of my pussy clenching around him.

“You taste delicious, baby,” he purred, his eyelids heavy as he stared into my soul.

When he had the use of both hands again, he gripped my hips and pulled back from the wall, taking my full weight. He lifted me higher to adjust his angle, giving himself the leverage to slam up into me. “You’re gushing all over my cock, Precious.” His voice was strained. “You’re the hottest fucking witch I’ve ever seen in my life. I’m one lucky asshole to have a mate as perfect as you.”

If I’d been gushing before, I was a fucking waterfall now.

“Don’t come yet,” Logan growled. “Wait for me, perfect girl. I want us to fall together.”

I panted out a response. “I can’t—control—it.”

Logan growled again, the deepest rumble filling his chest as he moved harder and faster, losing control. “Wait for me . . . wait for me. That’s my good girl. You’re doing so well, baby.”

Mewling little cries spilled from me as I tried to hold back, and with each thrust, the need and want grew stronger until I wasn’t sure I’d survive the fallout. “Now, baby,” he said, our lips meeting in a biting kiss. “Come with me.”

My head slammed back as my body detonated, and I was screaming loud enough that if there’d been neighbors close by, they’d be calling the cops and reporting a murder.

Only there was no pain as the orgasm ripped through me, Logan’s following until I was filled with the heat of his release. The connection that had always existed between us, even when we were ignoring it, exploded, and I felt the bonds of our magic fusing together. I sensed Logan in a way I never had before, and my heart swelled at the depth of his emotion.

It was beyond anything I’d ever expected. His love for me raged through my soul and left an indelible mark on it.

Logan. The whisper of his name was as instinctive as breathing.

Precious.

It wasn’t as if we were suddenly in each other’s heads, but we were in each other’s souls. I felt his magic, and the bond, and the immense world-shattering love that ebbed between us, which was no longer restricted by curses or magical suppression.

The only existence was us and our bond.

It was everything.

Chapter 34

My stomach rumbled as I rested my head on Logan’s chest. We’d made love through every room of the house, and when I was too tired to keep my eyes open, we ended up in his bed. The aim had been to sleep, but we’d gotten sidetracked—again.

Logan laughed as my stomach made another angry sound. “I better feed my mate,” he said.

A burst of magic filled me, the energy moving freely between us, and it was hard to tell if it was mine or Logan’s at this point. We’d indelibly intertwined our magic through copious amounts of sex and bonding.

“You’ve fed me plenty,” I rasped. “It was mostly your magic dick, but it counts.”

I had almost no experience sucking cock before Logan, but I was going to classify myself an expert after the last twenty-four hours. This time he laughed so hard that I found myself smiling at how perfect this moment felt.

Outside of a few quick phone calls to my family, double reassuring them I was okay and would be home soon, we’d been in a lovely love-filled bubble.

Why did we have to leave?

Here, there were no curses, deaths, or prohibited affinities.

Here, there was only us and our bond, and it was everything.

Logan kissed me, before slapping my ass and rubbing the sting away with a gentle pat. “Come on, baby.” He wedged his arms under my torso and lifted me from the bed. “You shower and I’ll get us food.”

We were well aware that if we showered together, there’d be no food, so I reluctantly parted from him and entered his gorgeous bathroom. With its multiple showerheads, steam bar, and array of expensive bodywashes, shampoos, and conditioners, his shower was a gift from the goddess.

There’d been so much drama in our relatively short relationship that it hadn’t fully occurred to me that Logan was rich. No, not rich—absolutely loaded. With Rafael’s death, he would inherit everything in the Kingston portfolio.

We’d had no issue with Rafael’s death so far. Noah had called a few hours ago to explain that the council had investigated and decided that Rafael had been dealing in dark curses and manipulating other spellcasters—causing the battles across Europe—and that he’d been his own downfall.

Which was the truth. The magical will had gone into effect straight after, leaving Logan in charge of the company, the magical objects his father had possessed, and all their properties.

The sheer scale of money and assets he now controlled was so far beyond me, I kept pretending it wasn’t happening—the best way to keep feelings of inadequacy at bay, no matter how ridiculous they were in our magically blessed bond.

I knew the truth: Even if we lived in a tent on the streets, I’d be happy as long as I had Logan.

This shower was a nice bonus though.

When I finished and had dried off, I applied a delicious lemon-scented body butter to my skin. Upon entering Logan’s walk-in closet, I paused at the new selection of women’s clothes. A quick glance told me that everything was brand-new and my size. He’d also cleared out a few of his drawers for bras and panties, along with an array of soft pajamas.
