To libraries, and my parents (more on them below) for taking me to them, even when I lost so many books I caused three generations of family cardholder accounts to be frozen. Special shout-out to Cook Memorial Public Library, where I checked out so many of the books that led to this one, and to the Brooklyn Public Library, where I spent many hours writing it.
