Nick lets up on the vibration, slowly bringing me back to this planet.
“I think she’s just a bit woozy from the champagne,” he tells the waiter. My breathing is so heavy it’s making me light-headed. The vibrations finally stop, and I swallow against my dry mouth. But Nick is there, anticipating my needs by pressing a glass of water to my lips as I lift my head from my hands.
I can’t imagine what I look like to the waiter, who is still standing there, concern flooding his features. I take a sip from the water and lay my head back while Nick fans me a little with the drink menu.
“I think we’ll be okay,” he tells the waiter with humor in his voice. “She’s such a lightweight.” They both share a laugh, and I’m too tired to do anything but roll my eyes.
“I saw that,” Nick says as the waiter walks away to get our bill. “Six.” He kisses me, and I open my eyes, trying to regain cognitive thought. Anytime he edges me like this, he always manages to finally give me an orgasm that sends me into outer space. My cunt is still pulsing around the toy inside of me.
“How was that, baby?” he asks. “Seems like you enjoyed yourself.”
I turn my head toward him and take in his cheeky grin and bright blue eyes. I look down to his crotch and see the evidence of his own arousal pressing tightly against his pants. I run my hand up his thigh, letting my fingers dance over his groin. He takes a deep breath and closes his eyes for a moment before giving me a look that’s threatening me to behave.
“So you can play, but I can’t?” I ask him, humor filling my voice. “That doesn’t seem too fair.” I shift closer toward him, the wetness between my thighs evident as I cross my legs. A strange mixture of shame and excitement flows through me. If I stand up to leave and I’ve left a mess…
“It’s not meant to be fair,” he says, bringing me out of my thoughts. “I’m the one in charge tonight.” His hand grips mine, pressing it harder against his growing cock.
The waiter comes around the corner, and Nick turns his attention to him as I pull my hand away like it’s caught on fire and Nick’s dick was the source. If the waiter saw anything, he’s very good at pretending he didn’t as he thanks us and walks away while Nick pulls out his wallet to pay.
“Thank God it’s time to go home,” I sigh.
“Who said it was time to go home?” His brows are furrowed like I asked him the stupidest question in the world.
“What do you mean, Nicholas?”
“Ooh,” he says with a smile. “My full name. I’m in trouble.”
I give him a look, and he just laughs as he throws the cash onto the table.
“I’m kidding, sweet girl,” he says as he gives me a kiss on the cheek. “We’re going home.”
I sigh in relief as he slides out of the booth. I follow and look back to find a damp spot where I was sitting. My entire body flushes with embarrassment as I use my coat to wipe it clean. I scoot the rest of the way out of the booth and quickly throw my coat on to cover the wet spot that I know is going to be clear as day on my ass.
“What a mess you made, Holly,” he says, trying to hold back his laughter. “That’ll be number seven.”
“If I could flip you off right now without getting another number added to my tally, I would.” Instead, I link my arm through his and smile up at him with as much attitude as I can muster before we make our way out of the restaurant. He hails a cab and smacks my ass again before we both climb inside. It’s snowing, and I watch as it falls in heavy flakes onto the snowy road.
“I could watch it snow for hours,” I tell him in a quiet voice. He leans over me and kisses my hair as he wraps his arms around my torso and pulls me back flush against him.
“I have a cabin that’s pretty isolated. I haven’t been up there this winter, but I would happily take you next winter when we can get snowed in.” His mouth finds that spot on my neck he knows I love. It sends goose bumps across my skin, and my stomach does little flips as I think about us still being together next year.
And not only that, but he clearly wants us to be together next year. That alone makes me feel giddy.
I really didn’t plan on falling this hard for him, but he’s such an easy person to like, and he has treated me better than anyone ever has in these last couple of months. I told him I wanted to take things slow, that I didn’t want him to turn into just a rebound, but he’s turned into anything but.
I’ve never felt so sure about anything in my life. But since I told him I want to take it slow, I’m not sure where his head is at. And I’m not sure how to let him know I’m ready to take the next step with him.
