Okay, okay. In all seriousness, I know we bound you, gagged you and shoved you off a cliff into a pile of sharp rocks with this one. But on the bright side, there’s one more book left in the series. And yes, maybe book 8 looks a bit like a psycho killer approaching you across those sharp rocks at the moment, with a knife in hand and a smile on his face. But let’s not forget all the happies this book gave you too!
Xavier got laid – woohoo! And his spangly wangle will go down in history, PLUS he managed to prank the best Seer in Solaria. Gabriel is totally gonna be laughing about that while he’s being brutally used against his friends and family by Lionel, right? And let’s not forget that Caleb got his D sucked, even if that didn’t quite go to plan, he’s probably gonna be super happy reminiscing about that while he’s in mortal peril, fearing his soul being sucked right out of his body, right? Right??
So here we are, you made it. I’d love to give you a medal or something because this book was the longest book we’ve ever written, and seriously, we’ve loved writing it so much. These characters own us body and soul, and we look forward to torturing them more – ah, I mean giving them happies – when the series concludes.
