“It’s about time,” Micah says, sarcasm thick in his tone.
Damien crookedly grins, retrieving the box from the nightstand, before placing it on my lap.
Carefully lifting the lid, my heart sinks at what’s inside.
A royal, blue masquerade mask.
And suddenly, I know.
“We all have our demons,” Damien says, grazing his fingertips over the initials carved into my skin on my hip. “And sometimes, they consume us.”
“You did this,” I begin, setting the box back onto the nightstand. “For me?”
His eyes burn into mine. “I’d do anything for you.”
With one swift motion he grabs the back of my neck, crushing his lips on mine. He kisses me hard, feverishly. Bringing me against his firm body as I dissolve into him. My stomach flutters, and the most beautiful emotions consume me. My arms find their way around his neck, and I hold him so tight.
Jensen and Micah move behind me, stroking my backside with their warm hands, kissing their way down my neck and shoulders. There’s a spark between the four of us, an electrical current in the air. Something’s changed.
Which was once lust, now turns into an undying passion.
Damien groans into our heated kiss, grazing his lips down my jaw. “Quinn,” he emotionally whispers, staring down at me with vulnerable eyes.
“I know,” I whisper back, trembling.
“Are you cold?”
“No,” I rush out, bringing him closer. “I’m melting.”
“That’s it, baby,” Micah purrs, pressing a tender kiss on my shoulder.
“Our good girl,” Jensen says beside my ear, and I shut my eyes, drowning in pure bliss.
“Melt for us,” Damien breathes.
