This book has been on my mind since I first wrote Saoirse’s character in her big brother’s book, Sweet Like Poison. Lock and Elena become beloved characters to both me and my readers, so I knew I couldn’t quit them and their family. The Harder They Fall series exists because of Saoirse. I built this series around her so I could tell her story.
I hope I did justice to her and her family. I’m pretty satisfied with all the happily ever afters I created.
I have to thank my husband for helping me come up with Miller’s crime. I was going to write something boring like embezzlement, when my husband mentioned a story he’d seen on “60 Minutes”。 My mind started whirring, I did a little research, and boom, Miller’s storyline was born.
