Ensnared (Brutes of Bristlebrook, #1)(96)

Author:Rebecca Quinn

I’ll thank my fiancé now, because his was and is a continued effort. No, he still hasn’t read it. I think he’s scared. Honestly, I don’t think I could shock him more than I already have over our thirteen years together but here we are. Thank you for being a cheerleader, always. For listening to me gush and babble nonsensically at you about book things and book people and characters and ideas that I’m sure you have very little interest in. You make a good show of pretending, and I adore you for it.

Thanks for always waving that foam finger.

I’d thank my baby, but let’s be real, this book is here in spite of you, you adorable little time suck.

Brianna Bancroft, you deserve a podium, a trophy, and all the love. You were my first ever proper critique partner, and when I say this book wouldn’t be here without you, it’s not even the slightest exaggeration. Exchanging chapters with you was the only thing that kept my procrastinating, imposter syndroming ass in line. Your encouragement and support and squeeing kept me writing in a way that nothing ever has before and I am so, so grateful. You’re an amazing friend, author, and human.

To AK Blythe, alpha-ing with you is much newer but no less fun. You always manage to catch me with love right when the doubts are kicking in and you’re one of the few people I’ve met who has a mind as filthy as mine. Never stop writing, I can’t wait for you to release!

To every single person who beta read for me, edited for me, worked on my cover, promoted me on socials, or contributed to all the thousand different things that go into making a novel, THANK YOU! The Bookstagram and Booktok communities are so incredibly lovely, and I’ve been overwhelmed with all the support you’ve given me. I appreciate each and every one of you.

So much.

To my wives, WH Lockwood, LH Blake, Letizia Firmani, and Letizia Lorini. (Okay, big tears now)。 I could write a whole book as a love letter just to the four of you. The support, advice, giggles, and talent that you guys have and are willing to share is just staggering. It’s hard to find people who share your big passion, and this is a hard job. The courage all of you have in pursuing that passion is nothing short of inspiring, and your willingness and selflessness in sharing your time, experience, and skills is absolutely humbling. You are all perfect examples of how, as writers and as women, we’re stronger together, lifting one another up, and helping wherever we can, and you inspire and push me to be better every day. I can’t love you enough for it.

Doesn’t hurt that your books are all genius level, gold star crack cocaine, and every single reader should track you down on Goodreads and devour your back catalogs. DO IT!

Okay, last one. Lety, the other wives are just going to have to forgive me for this, but you really do need a special, additional mention. Plaque. Statue. Crown. When you found me, I was wondering aimlessly through Facebook, looking for beta readers, only half sure I would ever publish anything, taking my sweet ass time as usual to make a decision.

Then I met you.

And by God. What a whirlwind.

I swear I don’t even know how it happened. One moment I was there, the next I had the most constructive novel critique I’ve ever been given, was being talked into pub dates, and socials strategy. I was overflowing with laughter, and glowing with someone who felt as passionate about my book as I did, and helpful information, and ideas, and you’re FORMATTING my BOOK, and holy crap, now I’m publishing. And it’s because of you, it really is. You did it. You’re the most determined, impassioned, talented, skilled, kind person I’ve ever met. You shared so selflessly, supported so fiercely, that you should practically be considered co-author at this point. You deserve every bit of success you’ve had and every bit that will come, and there is so, so much more in store for you. In thanks, I give you Dom.

Whew, okay. This is too long but whatever, brevity isn’t my thing. Gushing is, so this was always going to be a massive scroll. Sorry not sorry.

About the Author

After spending her career publishing other writers’ wonderful words, Rebecca Quinn decided to unleash her own. Turns out, she’s a little debauched. Rebecca loves writing inclusive, character-driven reverse harem romance with heart, humor, and kinky heat—or romance with bromance, as she calls it.

Rebecca lives in a coastal town south of Sydney, Australia. She spends her days cuddling her young son and her fiancé, getting far too invested in her DnD campaigns, drinking too much wine, playing board games, and—of course—reading as many novels as she can get her grabby little hands on.

If you want to keep up to date with the next books in the series, bonus content, new series, filthy memes, and ridiculous chats, come get Quinnky with me on my socials, or sign up to my newsletter via my website.
