The orgasm hits me like a freight train. My entire body clamps down. I pull him close, refusing to relinquish even a fraction of him, as I eke out every possible ounce of pleasure.
And as I contract around him, Leo groans. I feel the rhythmic pulsing of his pleasure inside of me. The beginning of our next chapter, starting now.
I lay my head on his shoulder until he’s done, both of us breathing heavily and slicked with sweat.
Leo lays me back gently on his desk and slides out of me. He wipes himself off and then moves to clean me, as well.
I slap his hands away. “I need that inside me, remember?”
“It’s already running down your leg,” he points out.
“Damn it.” I twist around and lift my legs up in the air.
He chuckles. “It’s probably going to take a few attempts before you get pregnant.”
“I don’t know about that. That felt like babymaking sex, didn’t it?”
“It was as good as any time before,” he admits. “But I also don’t mind if it was just the practice round.”
His eyes flash with mischief, and then he sweeps me off the desk and carries me to the sofa by the fireplace. He sits down and settles me on his lap.
“I know you want this. And I do, too. But we’ll have our baby when the time is right,” he says. “No pressure.”
I rest my head against his chest. “I just really want to do it all over again. With you.”
“Well, you’ll have to give me a few minutes,” he says, glancing down at his waist. “I’m not sure I’m ready for another go just yet.”
I laugh and slap his chest. “Not what I meant.”
“I’m excited to have a baby with you, too, kukolka. But it’ll happen when it happens, and you won’t even have to lift your legs into the air like a crazy person.” He blocks another one of my playful slaps and snags my hand out of the air. He presses a kiss to my knuckles. “It’ll happen. You trust me, right?”
I smile and look up at his strong face, his simmering eyes. Sometimes, it stuns me how we got here. How we ended up together. But not only that, how lying in Leo’s arms feels safe. Comfortable.
How being with him feels like home.
“I trust you,” I whisper. “Always.”
